Board Game Planet is a platform for board game designers and board game publishers. Designers can present their prototypes to a limited orbit of publishers & publishers can browse and filter those prototypes to find the next big game.
The pitching process for board games is... exhausting!
Exhausting, time-consuming and honestly - not what it could be. We have been there - sending eMails, paper prototypes, pitching on events like Spiel, Nürnberg or special board game designer fairs. How many pitches can you do before you just stop doing it - even if you are this extroverted kinda guy?
And guess what? It is not just the designers. The publishers are paying their share of grind as well. Always in a hurry to find the perfect match while doing their days work.
Now - what about an independend platform where designers and publishers can meet? Where as designer you don't have to sell from door to door and where as editor you don't have to answer every knock. Both parties can focus on what matters most: Making great games.
