Overview
In Galactic Diplomacy, players take on the role of politicians representing different factions on a distant planet. The goal of the game is to build the most influential deck through strategic decision-making and negotiation with other players, while also surviving various challenges that threaten your faction's existence.
Game play
Players start with a basic deck of cards representing resources, technology, and influence. Each turn, players can either add cards to their deck, play cards from their hand to gain advantages or hinder opponents, or engage in diplomatic negotiations with other players. These negotiations can result in alliances, trade agreements, or even all-out warfare. Throughout the game, random events will occur that test each player's ability to adapt and survive. These events may include natural disasters, rebellions within your faction, or attacks from hostile alien forces. Players must use their resources wisely to overcome these challenges and ensure their faction's survival.
Game end
The game ends when only one faction remains standing. This could be due to diplomacy (forming alliances with other factions to eliminate rivals), military conquest (defeating all opposing factions in combat), or economic dominance (accumulating enough resources and technology to outlast all others). The winner is determined by who has built the most powerful deck while still standing at the end of the game.
